Red Denim Jacket – HM
Red Trousers – Bershka
Belt – ASOS
Earrings – Zara
Back at it again with a spicy red number that make me think of those lil hot chilli sweets most people don’t like but I love.
I’ve low key hacked a way to take my own photos and so my excuse of not having a photographer to take my fit pics is no longer valid. God bless remote live shooting. (This is also why you’ll see my phone in my hands in most photos – don’t you worry, I’ll figure out a way to hide it better)
Now, there’s not much I can say about this outfit, except that it’s super comfortable and cosy despite giving you all the shoulder and the masala tea. Red is my colour, it signifies warmth, love, sexuality, passion, intensity and danger and with Scorpio Season fast approaching, who would I be if I didn’t seek to embody all those traits.
You may also have clocked that my title has nothing to do with this post – apart from the inclusion of the overarching colour scheme. Wellllll, it’s the first line that popped into mind and with this year highlighting the importance of authenticity in my life, I’ve decided to just put out what I feel or think – with minimal editing. Life’s too short to construct sentences that seek to worm their way around people’s self interest or audience like-ability. Can I get an amen?
Until next week,
Stay genuine xxx

Chunky Monochrome Camden Boots – ASOS
Lucy Clutch Bag – BANK Fashion – Marc B
I apologise if I’m scaring you with that glare, I really didn’t meant to come off that unapproachable (blame it on the lack of sleep!)
Recently, BANK Fashion launched Marc B on their online site and sought out to collaborate with different bloggers on a ‘What’s in your bag’ sort of theme. Well guys, here you have it. This is what was in my Marc B Lucy Clutch bag – which I think is gorgeous – Burgundy always was one of my favourite colours!
Barry M Smoking Hot Makeup Palette – Dark as my soul x Yum!
Kate Moss 107 (One of the best shades of red I have ever come across!)
Mac DIVA – Perfection.
Rimmel Scandalous Eyes Waterproof Eyeliner (Can’t leave the house without it)
White Apple Earphones
I have to confess. I’ve never really been a clutch bag kind of girl but I honestly do love this Marc B clutch, it’s so practical and minimalist in terms of it’s design and detail and yet undeniably stylish at the same time. Just my kind of man, I mean bag* (There could be a pun involved there). I chose to keep the colour scheme of this look as dark as I could with varying minimalist monochrome detail – you could say I was inspired to do so. The only pops of colour allowed were the Lucy Clutch Bag and my lipstick whose shade perfectly matched that of the clutch (Lord love me some Diva!) Alternatively I also picked out my gold choker to offset the gold detail on the zips of the clutch. What can I say? When I set out with styling an outfit, I really do pay attention to every little detail.
Hope you all dig this little outfit and have had a good start to the week!

I’ve been awful these last few weeks, disappearing without a word and practically abandoning my blog but I needed the break from reality and I’m well and truly back now! Today I thought I’d share two outfits I put together – seeing as I owe you this much at the least- Bank Fashion (love them) sent me a few samples earlier last week and now I get to share them with you all 🙂
The lace top is the cutest thing and as I have a bit of an obsession with the fabric and its texture, I adored it almost instantly. The high waisted jeans are super comfy and fit just right although not as tight as I would have liked around the ankles but that’s mainly because I have really skinny ankles compared to the rest of well, you get it. Don’t you just adore and covet my two toned boots? I’d been looking for a monochrome pair to go with my seemingly all black wardrobe (shout out to BEGS XO) and they are just perfect in every single way, be it the fit, the length and width of the heel, the laces, the zip details – EVERYTHING! Also how adorable is the sheer kaftan? Can you believe it’s only £6?! I couldn’t at all. I think it works perfectly as throw over for most outfits and love that I found it when I did – thank you H&M<3
I can’t really tell what was going through my head when I put together the second outfit. I just sort of threw things on and had a general direction of what kind of look I was aiming for. I have to say, it worked out pretty well. I’ve never really owned a swing styled dress in such a bold print before and was a bit unsure of how it would look on me but I’m kind of crazy about this piece now. The material is like imitation silk and the asymmetrical hemming of the dress as well as it’s fit – the way it flows and drapes ones form – is different to most that I have seen worn by people and for that reason it has captured my heart all the more. The accessories I paired it with gave off a slightly dark yet earthy vibe which I feel enveloped a lot of different styles – sort of a mess of the hippie 70’s and grunge 80’s, sixties’s vie de boheme with slight 1920’s flapper tendencies (never could say no to a lace headband – one of my weaknesses shh)
Hope everyone’s had a good start to the week!

Similar Black Leather Bralet – Missguided 1, Missguided 2, Asos and my own personal favourite Urban Outfitters
Alternative Beige Trousers – Asos (All you have to do to recreate the look in the photo is roll up the pant legs!)
Plaid Long Shirt Dress – I managed to find an almost exact match at YesStyle! A shorter version is however available at UNIQLO if that’s more preferable
Boots – Also found these beautiful boots on Ebay! Definitely grabbing myself a pair as soon as I can!
I shot this couples photo at the Fashionstyleologer fashion book launch and just came across it now. Absolutely loved this woman’s style so decided to make it my next post as it is still technically street style fashion.
I’m not a big fan of wearing leather bralet’s during the day but I liked how it was considerably tamed down by the beige trousers and plaid dress shirt. A very casual and cool look 🙂
