I tried to get alternatives as close to the original items as I could but it was pretty difficult considering all that this style savvy girl had on was from Buenos Aires. I loved midnight blue overcoat and really hope I come across something similar to it soon, it would be perfect to layer with… although I really should cut back on the layering with it being summer and all that. I found the under the knee socks interesting seeing as they’re normally worn over the knee by most people but I think it accommodates one’s height and looks pretty fetch either way. (Yes. Fetch is a thing!)
The t-shirt, to me, was reminiscent of a much tamer version of Givenchy’s bulldog emblem and I dug the vibe the outfit as a whole gave off. Pretty groovy, pretty different. And that my loves, is what I aim to showcase on this blog – although I did start to forget the point of it recently but ayyy, I’m back now.
Also Portugal got knocked out in the group stages although we did win our last game (thank God for little mercies)! However my team Germany is still in it to win it which it probably will. My bets between Germany and Netherlands although it would be nice to see Brazil win. I think it would be really uplifting for its population and the economic crisis they’re in. Part of me (most of me) does disapprove of the brazilian government for bypassing the needs of its citizens in favour of hosting the World Cup but sigh… this is just the way in which the world works.
Sorry for getting so downcast towards the end of that, hope you all have a great week ahead!

This couple pretty much made my day and I may have, mayyy have (maybe have) followed up after first seeing them in order to take this picture for ModainLondres (I pretty much stalked them why lie). They just corresponded so well with one other both in terms of appearance and style. I love how smart casual the girl was dressed whereas her boyfriend was just exceedingly casual. They were such a good looking couple too! I think the man might have been French which makes him even more so attractive. Those damn French accents ugh.
So I haven’t been blogging regularly as some of you might have noticed but I do have my reasons, the main being exams which have thus led to all my energy being spent on revision leaving me quite lethargic at the end of the day. Only a few more weeks to go and then I’ll be back and better for it since it will be summer. Finally.
Hope y’all have a great weekend and coming week and to anyone else facing finals, Good Luck!

It’s been two weeks and then some since I left England and travelled to the Middle East. Hope everyone’s had a good Easter holiday and is as ready to delve back into reality and routine as I am. The primary part of my time away was spent in Iraq on a spiritual journey and it was surprisingly incredible! I couldn’t honestly start to express in words how amazing it was to experience the customs and culture of such a wondrous country and it’s kind people. One of my aims in life will always be to adopt a few children so as to give them the love and care that they duly deserve as well as to satisfy my own need to give to those that aren’t as fortunate as we all have been. After spending time with the street children in Iraq, I can honestly without a doubt say that I will in the future, God willing, adopt an iraqi child – they were some of the most adorable children I had ever had seen and had the pleasure to experience!
Now the second half of my holiday was spent in Dubai and that’s where I was able to work on something for my blog (I honestly missed posting on ModainLondres!)
This was the outfit for my first day in Dubai where the heat was fortunately not too stifling and the days were relaxing and carefree. I promise the next few outfits were a lot more colourful and I did stray from the monochrome colour pallet you’ve been seeing in my last few posts. >_<
Just look at the view I had from my hotel room!
(Granted the view from my parent’s room was 100% better lmao)
Hope everyone had a great time whether it was spent away or in the comfort of your own home (which I had missed!)
